Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• Experience and strong interest in litigation.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Proficiency in using legal research software and other legal technology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think strategically and creatively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centric approach.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining high professional standards and ethical conduct.
• Proven track record of managing multiple cases and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Representing clients in all stages of litigation, in both state and federal courts.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, and preparing discovery requests and responses.
• Conducting and defending depositions, arguing motions, and participating in trial preparation and trial.
• Conducting legal research and analysis to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Collaborating with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to manage caseloads from start to finish.
• Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal precedents, changes in laws and regulations, and advancements in legal technology relevant to commercial litigation.
• Adhering to professional ethics and maintaining client confidentiality.
