Qualifications

Admission to the New York State Bar.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
Proven experience in court hearings and depositions.

Responsibilities

Represent organization in civil litigation involving monetary damages or personal injury claims.
Conduct legal research and draft necessary documents.
Develop litigation strategy, manage discovery, take/defend depositions, and argue motions.
Provide legal advice to claims department and policyholders.
Negotiate settlements and prepare for/hear court proceedings.
