AppleOne Employment Services is assisting a respected Florida litigation firm in recruiting an Associate Attorney to join the St. Petersburg or Tampa offices.

This role targets attorneys with 2 to 8 years of litigation experience handling general liability and professional liability defense matters. The Associate will manage all phases of litigation, draft pleadings and motions, conduct legal research, take or defend depositions, and prepare cases for trial while collaborating with senior

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar license in good standing.
• 2–8 years of General Liability or Professional Liability Defense experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents.
• Conduct legal research and manage written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions; assist with motion practice.
• Represent clients at court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop litigation strategies.
