Job summary

RumbergerKirk seeks a highly motivated associate attorney with 3+ years of civil litigation experience to join our team in Florida. This position offers exposure to education law, employment and labor matters, personal injury, and general tort litigation.

You will manage cases from inception through trial with a supervising partner, take depositions, participate in hearings, and draft motions and settlement agreements.

Qualifications

3+ years of civil litigation experience.
Strong academic credentials.
Licensed to practice law in Florida.

Responsibilities

Represent clients through all phases of litigation.
Manage cases from inception through trial with supervising partner.
Take and defend depositions, and participate in hearings and mediations.
Research and argue motions.
Interview witnesses and experts and negotiate with opposing counsel.
Draft motions, memoranda, settlement agreements, and trial documents.
Work on education law, employment and labor, personal injury and general tort matters.
