Job summary

Wicker Hamilton in California is seeking a Complex Litigation Attorney to join our nationally recognized litigation practice. You will handle sophisticated, high-exposure civil matters with meaningful responsibility and strong courtroom experience, while enjoying a hybrid work model.

You’ll collaborate with seasoned trial attorneys on cases involving catastrophic injury, transportation, trucking, automotive claims, wrongful death and other major civil disputes, guiding matters from inception

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong discovery, deposition and motion practice experience.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage matters and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Managing civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery and other substantive legal documents.
• Taking and defending depositions.
• Attending hearings, mediations and arbitrations.
• Developing case strategy and working directly with clients.
• Preparing matters for trial and gaining meaningful courtroom exposure.

A nationally recognized litigation firm is looking to add a Complex Litigation Attorney to its growing California practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a civil litigator looking for sophisticated, high-exposure matters, meaningful responsibility and strong courtroom experience, while maintaining the flexibility of a hybrid working model.

You’ll work alongside experienced trial attorneys on complex matters involving catastrophic injury, transportation, trucking, automotive claims, wrongful death and other significant civil disputes.
