Job summary

Brown White & Osborn LLP is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate with 2–6 years of post-JD experience to join its fast-paced, trial-oriented litigation team in California.

The role offers ownership of complex matters, close collaboration with partners, and opportunities to argue motions, take depositions, and handle cases from pleadings through trial preparation. California bar admission is required or willingness to sit for the bar.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of civil litigation experience at a law firm, government, or reputable boutique.
• Strong foundation in discovery and motion practice.
• JD class years 2019–2023.
• California bar admission or willingness to sit for the California bar.
• Trial or courtroom experience is a strong plus.
• Experience in white-collar defense or bankruptcy litigation is a bonus.

Responsibilities
