One of our clients is looking for an experienced Complex Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a background in general liability, personal injury, transportation, or catastrophic injury defense. This position provides substantial hands‑on litigation work, the chance to engage with high-profile national clients, and the ability to take on meaningful responsibility from the start.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversees a varied litigation docket from initial stages through final resolution.
- Works collaboratively with partners and team members in a cohesive, supportive environment.
- Manages all components of litigation, including trial preparation, factual investigations, court appearances, mediations, and depositions.
- Delivers timely updates and strategic insights to clients through consistent communication and reporting.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice in California.
- Three to eight years of defense‑side litigation experience, ideally within Personal Injury, General Liability, Catastrophic Injury, or Transportation matters.
- Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven skill in fostering strong client relationships and providing high-quality service.
- Prior experience handling complex matters and engaging directly with clients is highly valued.
- Able to thrive in a fast‑moving, collaborative work setting.
- Knowledge of legal project management is a plus.
