Job summary

Caris Life Sciences is seeking a Supervisor - Molecular Operations, Liquid Profiling to oversee the daily operations of the Molecular Liquid Profiling laboratory and ensure QC guidelines are met. The role requires leading a team, maintaining equipment logs, training technologists, and ensuring compliance with FDA/CLIA/NYS/CAP/ISO standards while supporting shift coverage and occasional travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science.
4+ years lab experience, including 2 years of high complexity patient testing.
Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality control procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet for business use.

Responsibilities

Manages/performs all clinical molecular testing.
Maintains routine molecular equipment maintenance and support logs.
Train molecular technologists on new techniques.
Monitor test analysis and specimen examination to ensure acceptable levels of analytic performance.
Follows the laboratory's quality control policies, documents all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed.
Follows the laboratory's established procedures when test systems are not within standard performance.
