Job summary

Caris Life Sciences seeks a Supervisor for Reagent QC Molecular Operations to oversee daily QC of molecular reagents and materials, ensuring testing aligns with SOPs and regulatory standards.

The role provides technical leadership to QC staff performing molecular verification testing, including NGS and other assays, while ensuring GMP/GDP alignment and continuous process improvement within a state-of-the-art laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (Molecular Biology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, or related).
• Minimum 5+ years in a regulated laboratory (CLIA, CAP, NYS, FDA, ISO) with 2+ years in QC or testing supervision.
• Experience supervising a laboratory team.
• Knowledge of molecular QC methods (NGS, PCR, nucleic acid extraction).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily QC operations for molecular reagents and materials per SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Ensure QC testing of incoming reagents and materials is performed and documented.
• Provide technical leadership to QC staff performing molecular verification testing (NGS, DNA/RNA workflows).
• Maintain compliance with lab quality and safety regulations (CLIA, CAP, NYS, FDA, ISO).
• Train and mentor QC personnel in molecular QC methods and GDP practices.
• Support Change Control and ensure related documentation is kept current.
