The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 4+ years lab experience including 2 years high-complexity testing in Molecular Pathology, and strong knowledge of safety and QC procedures; preferred Master’s and 6+ years experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical/biological/clinical/medical laboratory science or medical technology.
• 4+ years lab experience, including 2 years high-complexity patient testing (1 in Molecular Pathology methods).
• Knowledge of lab safety and QC procedures/regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet for business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Molecular Liquid Profiling lab.
• Train staff on new techniques and ensure QC compliance.
• Monitor test analysis and specimen examination to maintain analytic performance.
• Maintain equipment logs and reagents inventory.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (FDA, CLIA, NYS, CAP, ISO) and safety standards.
• Document proficiency testing and corrective actions.
