Job summary

Flex is seeking a Liquid Cooling Engineer in Austin, TX to design and implement advanced liquid cooling systems for high‑density applications. You will analyze thermal performance, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to project specifications while maintaining industry standards.

The role requires a Mechanical/Thermal Engineering background with 4‑5 years of related experience, plus involvement in NPI, automation, and process management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Thermal Engineering.
4–5 years of experience modelling liquid cooling or equivalent.
Experience with System Integration and Liquid Cooling infrastructure.
Experience with NPI, new product launch, automation, and process management.
Manufacturing support for NPI and product transfers.

Responsibilities

Develop and design efficient liquid cooling systems for various applications.
Implement thermal management strategies to optimize performance.
Conduct analysis of thermal data and system performance.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate cooling solutions.
Monitor and drive ECOs through design and release processes.
Test and evaluate cooling systems for reliability and effectiveness.
