Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Liquid Cooling Systems Engineer in Plano, TX to design, integrate, and validate advanced liquid cooling solutions. You will work with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust system performance and reliability.

The role involves defining system requirements, selecting components, and developing test plans while supporting customers onsite or remotely.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field with specialization in HVAC/Refrigeration/Thermal Systems.
• Demonstrated project experience in thermal management, liquid cooling systems, or HVAC-related applications (academic projects, internships, research).
• Familiar with thermal management products (e.g., coolant loops, heat exchangers, pumps, valves).

Responsibilities

• Develop liquid cooling products, define system requirements and specifications, and ensure compliance with performance, reliability, and safety standards.
• Integrate thermal components (e.g., heat exchangers, fans, pumps), sensing components (e.g., flow, temperature, pressure sensors), power, and control elements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize liquid cooling products.
• Prepare system architecture documents, functional interface definitions, and test plans.
• Identify and analyze product issues, implement solutions to ensure system stability.
• Assist with product safety and reliability testing.
• Provide onsite or remote technical support to customers and deliver system-level solutions.
