LiquidStack is seeking a Senior Thermal Engineer to lead thermal design for data centers, focusing on water cooling and scalable CDU platforms. You will perform thermal analyses, CFD simulations, and collaborate with global teams to optimize performance.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC design, proficiency in CAD tools, and strong English communication. On-site in Carrollton, TX with global collaboration opportunities.

Competenze

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of HVAC design experience for data centers or industrial buildings.
• HVAC certification is a plus.

Mansioni

• Conceptual designs of thermal solutions for data centers with water cooling.
• Collaborate with engineers and vendors to plan, design, and build test fixtures and prototypes.
• Develop documentation such as P&IDs and testing procedures.
• Perform 1D flow-network modeling and 3D CFD simulations for heat transfer, energy balance, and fluid dynamics.
• Evaluate subsystem- and system-level thermal performance and optimization.
• Coordinate with manufacturing for data center designs.
