Gruve seeks a Junior Linux Operations Specialist to monitor servers, perform health checks, and troubleshoot basic issues. You will log incidents, validate alerts, and escalate to L2/L3 with clear details.

The role supports global 24x7 operations and requires solid foundational Linux knowledge and incident-management awareness. Responsibilities include maintaining dashboards, following runbooks, and ensuring quick restoration of services while upholding SLAs.

Competenze

• 1–3 years in Linux admin or helpdesk
• Familiarity with common Linux commands and troubleshooting
• Understanding of filesystems, processes, permissions and logs
• Basic DNS/SSH/network concepts
• Exposure to monitoring tools and ITSM platforms
• Understanding incident management and escalation procedures

• Monitor server availability and infrastructure alerts
• Perform routine health checks (CPU, memory, disk, services)
• Troubleshoot using Linux commands and runbooks
• Log incidents, validate alerts, and escalate to L2/L3 with details
• Check processes, logs, mounts, connectivity and scheduled jobs
• Follow approved procedures and perform post-maintenance checks
• Escalate unresolved incidents with logs and steps taken
• Adhere to SLAs, escalation matrices and comms protocols
