Job summary

Elfonze Technologies seeks a motivated Linux L1 Administrator to provide first-level support for Linux servers and infrastructure. You will monitor performance, handle incidents, and ensure 24x7 production availability, with a foundation in Linux, networking, and ITSM processes.

Responsibilities include monitoring, alert response, escalation to L2/L3, daily health checks, account management, and basic package updates using YUM/DNF, APT, and RPM.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Experience with IT service management processes (ITSM).
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with server administration and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Linux servers, applications, and services using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Monitor CPU, memory, disk, swap, network, and process utilization.
• Respond to alerts and incidents generated by monitoring platforms.
• Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams per escalation matrix.
• Perform daily server health checks and routine maintenance.
• Manage user accounts, including creation, modification and deletion.
