Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test for Datacenter Server OS. The role focuses on reliable, scalable server test automation across OS, firmware, and CUDA software stacks in a fast-paced R&D environment.

You will drive root-cause analysis, develop automation frameworks, and collaborate across teams. Strong Linux, scripting, and DevOps skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a STEM field.
• 5+ years proven experience; or master's degree.
• Experience with OS/server automation, CI/CD, DevOps using Python, Shell, Ansible, Jenkins, C/C++, Java, JavaScript.
• Strong server/Linux troubleshooting in bare-metal and virtualization environments (KVM/VMware).
• Experience with AI tools/frameworks, NLP, and LLM benchmarking.
• Experience using AI development tools for test planning and automation.
• Knowledge of FW, BMC/OpenBMC, network protocols, PCIe, IO sub-devices, UEFI/ACPI/Redfish.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute platform test plans on servers, OS, firmware and CUDA stack from design docs.
• Install and test various systems OS, server firmware and software stacks.
• Root-cause analysis for reliability and validation failures and mitigation.
• Build and debug server/OS automation front-end and back-end tests.
• Review partner test results and prescribe additional reliability testing.
• Work in an agile team with high production quality standards.
• Manage bug lifecycle and collaborate across groups for solutions.
