Contract to Hire

CDW is seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator (Contract) to support our infrastructure through hands-on technical work. This role will focus on maintaining and improving our Linux-based systems, updating/creating Ansible scripts, and providing coverage for critical single-threaded services. AWS experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform system administration and maintenance on Linux servers
• Update and create Ansible playbooks for automation and configuration management
• Provide operational backup for single-threaded services
• Support general maintenance and stability of the infrastructure
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service availability

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Linux system administration (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu)
• Solid scripting and automation experience using Ansible
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or DevOps tools
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git)
• Experience with troubleshooting and system diagnostics
