Contract Role

Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Linux System Administrator with deep experience in GPU integration, storage configuration, and RAID setup. You will play a pivotal role in supporting scalable infrastructure and modern application deployments in a remote, asynchronous environment. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of production systems at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Linux-based production systems
• Configure and monitor RAID storage solutions and GPU hardware
• Develop and maintain infrastructure tooling using scripting languages
• Integrate CI pipelines and automation workflows
• Contribute to upstream projects where applicable
• Collaborate with remote teams using asynchronous communication methods
• Maintain operational excellence through proactive monitoring and improvement

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Proven hands-on experience with Linux server administration
• Strong understanding of GPU setup and configuration in server environments
• In-depth knowledge of RAID levels and storage architecture
• Working experience with at least one language: Python, Ruby, or Golang
• Competent in writing and debugging Shell scripts
• Experience with CI tools (GitHub Actions, Concourse, or similar)
• Solid understanding of DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering practices
• Clear and concise communication in English, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in distributed teams
• Commitment to inclusive, transparent, and feedback-oriented work culture

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with .deb packaging and image building tools
• Prior contributions to open-source projects
