Network Administrator /Juniper

Secret clearance required

6+ years of Network Experience working with Juniper Switches

Remote with Extensive travel (60% +) required (U.S. and International).

Techead is currently hiring a Network Engineer to join our team. This position requires 60% + travel to DoD Military Treatment Facilities worldwide in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) LAN/WLAN upgrade/refresh project.

Responsibilities

Participate as a member of the LAN/WLAN Site Survey and Install Team.

Survey Duties: Capture switch configurations, document existing fiber interconnects and existing network equipment data. Perform WLAN heatmap walks utilizing AirMagnet software.

Install Duties: Independently upgrade switch IOS, Install (rack mount) and configure Layer 2/3 edge switches (Cisco or Ruckus or Juniper.)

Requirement's

A minimum of four (6) years’ hands-on experience configuring Layer 2/3 edge switches. Juniper EX4300 LAN and IP based switches).

Python Scripting is a plus but not required.

Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required prior to starting.

Technical Training in LAN or WLAN Communications required.

CCNA or other OEM vendor certification highly desired. CWNA certification is a plus.
