Job summary

Eversource Energy in New Hampshire seeks a Lineworker to construct, install and repair distribution and transmission circuits as part of the Apprentice Lineworker Training Program (ALTP). Qualifications

• Must obtain Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with an 'O' endorsement.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must successfully complete the CAST aptitude test.
• CDL/A license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, installs, repairs, maintains, and removes distribution and transmission circuits, substations, and related facilities.
• Rig and install poles on energized and de-energized circuits; install transformers, voltage regulators, capacitors and reclosures; replace fuses; work on underground equipment and repairs energized equipment.
• Obtain and maintain appropriate driving license; be prepared for storm restoration and emergency assignments; overtime may be required.
• participate in ALTP training program; work hours typically 7:00am–3:30pm, with potential 4/10 schedule; base location Legends Drive, Hooksett NH; travel to various NH sites as needed.
