Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Lineworker in New Hampshire to construct, install, repair, maintain, and remove distribution and transmission circuits, substations, and related facilities. Duties include rigging poles on energized and de-energized circuits, installing transformers and reclosures, and performing storm restoration and emergency assignments.

Starting pay is $40.36 per hour; a valid CDL Class A license is required or must be obtained, along with a high school diploma or GED and CAST

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to climb and work on poles.
• Must communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• Must obtain CDL Class A license and maintain valid driving record.
• Must complete CAST aptitude test.
• Candidates with line school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, repair, maintain, and remove distribution and transmission circuits, substations and facilities.
• Rig poles on energized and de-energized circuits and install transformers and related equipment.
• Occasional overtime for storm restoration and ensure uninterrupted electric service.
• ALTP training at NH bases with 18-month program and field rotations.
