Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking an Apprentice Lineworker to join a union-represented program serving New Hampshire and surrounding areas. You will progress through the ALTP, perform line work on energized or de-energized circuits, and gain exposure to storm restoration and emergency assignments.

Starting pay is $40.36 per hour, with a structured 18‑month training period and potential duty locations across the state. Overtime and long hours during storms are expected as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Must progress to senior levels and provide standby coverage.
• Must obtain CDL/Class A and maintain a valid license.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willing to work overtime for storms and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, repair, maintain, and remove circuits and substations.
• Rig poles on energized and de-energized circuits; install transformers and regulators.
• Participate in storm restoration and emergency assignments; comply with safety rules.
