Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking candidates for a Lineworker through the ALTP program in New Hampshire. The program runs 18 months with an 8-hour schedule from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday; a 4/10 option may be arranged.

Training occurs at Legends Drive, Hooksett, NH, with site work across the NH region. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and aim to obtain a CDL Class A with an endorsement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to progress to senior levels and provide standby coverage.
• Must obtain Commercial Driver's License (Class A with an "O" endorsement) and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must successfully complete the CAST aptitude test.
• CDL/A License preferred.
• Line school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• ALTP lasts 18 months of training with an 8-hour schedule 7:00am–3:30pm, or a mutual 4/10 schedule.
• Based at Legends Drive, Hooksett, NH with possible travel to job sites from Tilton to Portsmouth areas.
• Emergency restoration assignments are part of the role; overtime may be required.
• Bargaining unit employees have first consideration; union membership may be required for this posting.
