Job summary

gobravvo is seeking a Linen Distribution Manager to oversee daily linen and laundry distribution across multiple healthcare facilities. Lead planning, receiving, recording, and distribution of linens to ensure all user areas have clean supply while maintaining high hygiene standards and regulatory compliance.

You will manage staff, collaborate with processing plant personnel and hospital staff, and drive operational excellence, safety, and service quality in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assign duties and delegate tasks to distribution staff as needed to ensure efficient operations.
• Plan and schedule the receiving, recording, distribution, and collection of linens to meet hospital needs.
• Oversee housekeeping and maintain cleanliness in the linen room and associated work areas.
• Conduct general and spot inspections of laundered articles to assure compliance with OSHA and JCAHO requirements.
• Maintain accurate records for department attendance, production efficiency, and linen tracking.
• Communicate regularly with hospital departments to gather feedback and address linen service needs.
• Participate in hospital linen standardization committees as required to optimize processes.
• Interview, orient, and train new distribution employees to support a high-performance team.
• Provide specialized linen services to departments with unique requirements as needed.
• Monitor and report overuse, misuse, or abuse of linens, recommending corrective actions to management.
• Cover for distribution staff during absences to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
