Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) has an immediate opening for a Lineman Journeyman at the Douglas Service Center. The role focuses on new construction work and maintaining underground and overhead distribution facilities, with a $10,000 signing bonus under the LOMA terms.

Candidates must have a journeyman background, CDL Class A, pass a DOT exam, and reside within an hour of the headquarters. The position requires flexibility for overtime and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Registered Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship or equivalent training plus one year experience as a Journeyman Lineman.
• Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with ability to meet all DOT requirements; must have at least a Class A CDL permit at the time of application, and a clean driving record.
• Experience working on distribution lines from 4kV to 21kV.
• Must live within one hour of headquarters.
• Must pass written and hands-on exam and demonstrate climbing skills.
• Overtime and callouts required.
• Subject to travel reimbursement for out-of-state candidates.
