Job summary

Tjader & Highstrom Utility Services, LLC is seeking an Apprentice Lineman to join our field-experienced team. You will work alongside seasoned Linemen to install and maintain power and telecom lines, ensuring reliability and safety.

The position involves outdoor work, travel across a three-state area, and participation in emergency response and storm restoration. A CDL and climbing training completion are required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required prior to starting employment.
• High school diploma or GED and completion of lineman climbing school.
• Ability to operate and maintain vehicles and line equipment.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electric distribution facilities.
• Install poles, anchors, transformers, conductors, and underground cable.
• Assist customers in service outages and restore power safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret staking sheets, work orders, and construction plans.
• Travel for weekly assignments and emergency response duties.
