Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC is seeking a Lineman – C Class to join our field team in Ohio. The role involves pole climbing, line construction and maintenance, transformer work, and operating service trucks in diverse weather conditions.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, a valid Class A CDL and medical examiner card, and OSHA 10 training within 60 days. Must pass background checks and be willing to travel as needed. We emphasize safety, reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of lineman experience.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL and current medical examiner card.
• OSHA 10hr Safety Training within 60 days.
• Criminal and MVR background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of methods, practices and equipment of electrical line work.
• Climb poles and perform strenuous duties in various weather conditions.
• Operate service truck and respond to work orders for disconnections/reconnections.
• Maintain tools and equipment and report hazards to foreman.
