Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC (5 Star) is seeking a Class A OH Distribution Lineman for on-site work in Ohio, covering Grove City and Chillicothe areas. The role involves working on energized and de-energized lines, setting poles, stringing wire, and maintaining distribution equipment.

We prioritize safety and reliability. Applicants should have four years of experience, a valid Class A CDL, current medical card, OSHA 10, and be willing to travel/on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience or equivalent hours.
• Valid State of Residence Driver License is required.
• Must have a Valid Class A CDL and current medical examiner card.
• Candidates must pass criminal and MVR background checks and a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must complete OSHA 10hr Safety Training within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of methods, practices and equipment of electrical line work.
• Ability to climb poles and perform strenuous duties in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Operate service truck and read/record data from meter dials.
• Maintain safety standards for self and crew.
