Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of lineman experience or equivalent hours.
• Valid State Driver License; CDL Class A and medical card.
• Pass background checks and pre-employment drug screen.
• OSHA 10-hour Safety Training within 60 days.
• Completion of formal training or 4 years verifiable experience including energized work.
• Ability to travel and overtime including storm work.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of electrical line work methods and safety.
• Climb poles and perform duties in various weather.
• Read data from meter dials and record accurately.
• Set poles, transformers and distribute equipment.
• Digs holes, strings wire, repairs lines.
• Respond to work orders for disconnections, reconnections, new orders.
