Pike Electric LLC is hiring a Groundman to support the construction and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems. You will assist the crew under the foreman, performing physically demanding tasks and adhering to all safety protocols.

The role requires willingness to travel, long hours, and working outdoors in varied weather, with opportunities for outages and emergency callouts as part of a reliable team.

Qualifications

• Safety protocols compliance and PPE usage.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Help install and repair power lines, poles, insulators and hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools.
• Work outdoors in extreme weather and environments.
• Be available for outages, storms and emergency callouts.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE guidelines.
• Inspect PPE and rubber goods.
• Communicate using hand signals when necessary.
• Perform rigorous physical labor.
