Job summary

Midwest Express Co. is seeking a dedicated linehaul driver for a local IAD to PIT corridor. You will operate tractor-trailers, perform pickups and deliveries, and maintain compliance with safety and log requirements.

Position offers full-time hours, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits after 90 days, including medical/dental/vision/LIFE/401K; PTO is available. Requires 22+ with 2 years OTR experience and HazMat eligibility within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 22 years old.
• Minimum 2 years of over-the-road driving experience.
• HazMat certification required or obtainable within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on assigned local routes.
• Lane goes from IAD to PIT airport area.
• Perform timely pickup and delivery of freight.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle maintenance as required.

JOB DETAILS: FULL TIME, SUN - FRI - $600/roundtrip (3/wk), PAID WEEKLY. MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION/LIFE/401K AFTER 90 DAYS. PTO AVAILABLE

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on assigned local routes
• Lane goes from IAD to PIT airport area
• Perform timely pickup and delivery of freight
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle maintenance as required by company policy.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow route schedules to optimize delivery times and maintain service reliability.

Job information:

• Minimum 22 yrs old with 2 years of over the road driving experience.
• Must have or obtain HazMat within 90 days
• Vehicle is a sleeper cab and will have a dedicated parking spot upon return to IAD
• 3 nites spent onsite at our PIT airport area Midwest Express location
• No dui's or felonies
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and TSA security background check
