Midwest Express Co. in Elk Grove Village, IL, is seeking a Class A CDL truck driver to join our trusted team. You will operate tractor-trailers on local routes, perform pickups and deliveries, and uphold our safety standards to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.

This full-time role starts at 16:00, Monday through Friday, with weekly pay. Benefits include medical/dental/vision/Life/401K after 90 days and PTO available.

JOB DETAILS: FULL TIME, MON - FRI, 1600 START TIME, $34/HR, PAID WEEKLY. MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION/LIFE/401K AFTER 90 DAYS. PTO AVAILABLE

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on assigned local routes
• Perform timely pickup and delivery of freight, including local pick-up and delivery (PUD) operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle maintenance as required by company policy.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight as needed.
• Follow route schedules to optimize delivery times and maintain service reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• HazMat endorsement required
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and follow schedules.
