Job summary

Midwest Express Co. in Duncansville, PA is seeking a Linehaul Driver to operate tractor-trailers on local routes with early starts and a $29 per hour pay rate, paid weekly.

This full-time position requires at least 22 years old with 2 years of over-the-road driving, HazMat certification within 90 days, and a clean driving record; pre-employment drug testing and TSA background checks are required. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, life insurance and a 401(k) plan after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have HazMat certification within 90 days.
• Clean driving record: no DUIs or felonies.

JOB DETAILS: FULL TIME, Departures on Mon/Wed/Fri - 0330 start time, $29/HR, PAID WEEKLY. MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION/LIFE/401K AFTER 90 DAYS. PTO AVAILABLE

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on assigned local routes
• Lane goes to Dulles Int'l Airport and surrounding areas, returning same day to Duncansville terminal
• Perform timely pickup and delivery of freight
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle maintenance as required by company policy.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow route schedules to optimize delivery times and maintain service reliability.

Job information:
