Job summary

Hideout Steakhouse & BBQ in Casa Grande, AZ is seeking a dependable Line Cook / Prep Cook to prepare ingredients, grill steaks, and assemble menu items to our high standards. You will keep workstations clean and organized, follow all safety rules, rotate stock using FIFO, and work as part of a fast-paced kitchen team.

Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but we are happy to train motivated individuals who show reliability, work ethic, and a passion for quality food.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have (or obtain) a valid Food Handler’s Permit before beginning employment.
• Successfully pass pre-employment drug and background screenings.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to follow recipes, procedures, and direction from kitchen leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items following company recipes and quality standards.
• Prep meats, vegetables, sauces, sides, and other ingredients for daily service.
• Grill steaks, prepare BBQ, breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked workstations.
• Label, rotate, and store food using FIFO inventory practices.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Minimize food waste while maintaining product quality.
• Assist teammates during busy service and help create a positive kitchen environment.
