Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam seeks a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport. Team-based transport with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance, including accurate logging and coordination with dispatch and flight crews.

Qualified applicants have rotorcraft FAA commercial cert, instrument rating, and the required flight hours; on-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule accompany a competitive compensation package and sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours minimum.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided/Unaided).
• Weight limit 230 lb including flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers with a team of medical experts by air.
• Ensure aircraft readiness and compliance with manuals and FAR requirements.
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information per protocol for logs.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

HAA PILOT Full-Time Opportunity

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Air Evac Lifeteam customers. Safety isa key pillar of ourservices

Pilot Incentives

• $106,511 - $117,162 including 20% Geo Modifier
• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus Plans ($40,000 after 3 years, plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
• On Duty Housing
• 7/7 Schedule

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
