Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Tennessee is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport services with a focus on safety and patient care. You will fly with experienced medical crews to relocations and emergencies, following strict procedures and responsible for documentation.

The role requires a FAA commercial rotorcraft certificate, instrument rating, a Class II medical, and thousands of flight hours including PIC time.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours.
• Minimum 1,500 helicopter hours.
• Minimum 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• Minimum 500 turbine helicopter hours.
• Night time: 100 hours unaided or 50 unaided with 100 hours aided.
• Weight limit 230 pounds with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers with medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for dispatch per manuals and requirements.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam documentation.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Salary range $97,634 - $107,398 including 10% Geo Modifier

$15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility

Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training
