Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport patients and ensure aircraft readiness per FARs and company requirements.

Salary range $106,511–$117,162 with 20% geo modifier, plus a $15,000 sign-on bonus (eligibility) and retention bonuses. On-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate.
• Instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II medical certificate required.
• Minimum flight hours: 2,000 total; 1,500 helicopter; 1,000 helicopter PIC; 500 turbine.
• Night time: 100 hours unaided or 50 unaided with 100 aided.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in FARs and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements; maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam changes.
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
