Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services in a high‑demand environment. The role includes a salary range with a 20% geo modifier, a $15K sign‑on bonus, and $40K retention bonuses after three years.

The position features on‑duty housing and a 7/7 schedule, with responsibilities spanning crew coordination, aircraft readiness, and meticulous record keeping. Applicants must meet strict flight hour thresholds and FAA certifications.

Competenze

• Must hold a Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Must hold an instrument rating for helicopter operations.
• Must possess FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Minimum requirement: 2,000 total flight hours and helicopter hours as specified.

Mansioni

• Work with a team of medical experts to transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for dispatch per manuals, FARs, and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team following the recording protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Salary range $106,511 - $117,162 including 20% Geo Modifier

$15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility

Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Preferred Qualifications

• B407 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
