Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation and join a nationwide fleet. The role requires closely collaborating with medical teams to transport patients safely and ensuring aircraft readiness per FARs and internal standards.

The position offers a 7/7 schedule, a competitive salary ($102,073–$107,399 with a 15% geo modifier), a $15,000 sign-on bonus, and on-duty housing. Applicants must maintain certifications and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 helicopter hours.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• 500 turbine helicopter hours.
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.
• 230 lb weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport patients to and from locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals, FARs, and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate AEL regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details.
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
