Job summary

Accurate Personnel in Mokena, Illinois is seeking a Line Packer to join our production team. The role includes packing 2oz pouches into cartons, sealing cartons, and maintaining a steady line pace of 35–40 pouches per minute.

1st shift 3am-3pm or 2nd shift 3pm-3am, and starting pay is $16/hour with full benefits. You will work as part of a team, keep the work area clean and safe, and perform other duties as assigned by team leaders.

Qualifications

• Able to maintain a pace of 35–40 pouches per minute.
• Comfortable with materials weighing up to 18 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally).
• Comfortable standing for 10+ hours per shift.
• Able to perform repetitive motion tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Load information into product date coders.
• Change ink or ribbons on coders as needed.
• Replace tape and labels on tapers and sealers.
• Record products packed accurately.
• Verify that correct codes are applied to packaging.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe.
• Assist with cleaning duties during line downtime.
• Pack cartons into master cases at 10 per minute.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by team leaders or supervisors.

This individual will be responsible for packing 2oz pouches into cartons, sealing each carton by folding its flap, and maintaining consistent line productivity. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to maintain a pace of 35–40 pouches per minute, ability to work as a team, and more listed below.
