Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking an Inspector Packer for the 1st shift (6:00 am to 2:30 pm) to inspect and package plastic products at our on-site facility in Saint Charles, IL.

This full-time role focuses on quality, sealing, labeling, and efficient production flow to ensure products meet specifications and ship flawlessly. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or packaging role preferred.
• Attention to detail and the ability to spot defects or inconsistencies.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
• Other duties as assigned.
