Job summary

Mt. Hood Skibowl is seeking an entry-level cook to prepare all orders in a timely manner according to recipes and maintain quality and freshness in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

The position is seasonal, indoor/outdoor work, and requires willingness to work holidays and weekends; you must have a valid food handler’s card by day one and be able to lift 40 lbs and shovel snow. You’ll contribute to a clean, safe area, help guests, and collaborate with the team to ensure high service

Responsibilities

• Prepare all meals according to recipes and maintain quality.
• Follow directions from Supervisor or Lead Cook.
• Keep station stocked and clean; restock area as needed.
• Deliver orders and run food to Beer Stube when needed.
• Work well in a TEAM atmosphere and assist guests.

Job Summary

Essential Job Functions

• Willing to talk directions from a Supervisor or Lead Cook
• Keeping itemsstocked with the proper level of items.
• Accepting as a goal… Cook time = Ticket time for the foodorders
• Restocking the area as needed on your own.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the whole area you are responsible for
• Changing garbage can liners and take bags to waste building
• Running food to the Beer Stube if needed
• Willing and able to work in a TEAM atmosphere.

Secondary Job Functions

• Work as a TEAM PLAYER in a TEAM atmosphere.
• Help out in other departments as needed.
• Separate garbage and recyclables into appropriate bins.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Look out for all companyproperty and assets.
• Address any issues as it occurs or inform the appropriate dept manager.
• Assist Guests.

QualificationsRequirements

• Have an active food handler’s card, or have by the first day of work.
• Able to work indoor or outdoors

• Able to use computer correctly during high stress situations.
• Must be able to deal with high volumes of people in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Able to work well with others in a TEAM environment
• Must be able to work Holidays and Weekends which may include evenings.
