Job summary

Mt Hood Skibowl in Government Camp, OR is seeking an Entry Level Seasonal Lift Ticket Agent for Skibowl West (Lift Operations, Rental Shop and Tickets). You will sell lift tickets, passes, and retail items, greet guests, and share information about the Mt. Hood area.

You’ll use a computerized tracking system for rentals and cash handling, support guest services, and contribute to a safe, friendly guest experience across shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must display a positive attitude and willingness to work.
• Familiar with Excel programs and sign-making.
• Retail experience.
• Prior cash handling experience.
• Adhere to appearance code of the department.
• Able to work in a small area for long periods.
• Knowledge of basic resort information.
• Ability to think creatively to solve problems.
• Lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Proficient with computers and software systems.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Resort experience preferred.

Job Summary

Sells lift tickets, passes, and retail items, and rental equipment to guests; acts as first contact for guests; answers a wide variety of questions regarding Skibowl and the Mt. Hood area, and uses a computerized tracking system for retail equipment rentals and cash handling.

Essential Functions

• Ability to use a computerized ticket-selling program accurately and effectively.
• Direct guests and employees to desired locations and answer general information questions accurately.
• Answers telephones/radios and responds to or transfers calls accordingly and promptly.
• Set up, stock, clean, and organize retail stores as needed.
• Complete knowledge of Skibowl and the surrounding areas.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain the highest safety standards and code compliance for guests and staff daily.
• Other duties as requested by Manager, Senior Team, or VP/GM

• You must be able to lift 25lbs. if needed.
• You must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to work days or nights, sometimes odd/long hours, as well as Holidays and weekends.
• Proficiency with computers/various software/computer systems programs

• Resort experience preferred.
