Job summary

Frontier Airlines in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Supervisor — Line Maintenance to lead the shift that keeps aircraft moving safely. You’ll set maintenance priorities, direct the work of maintenance personnel, monitor aircraft status and coordinate with Maintenance Control and Planning to ensure work is safe, accurate and on schedule.

Responsibilities include keeping maintenance safe and on schedule, supervising Frontier personnel on company and contract aircraft, and providing timely updates on

Qualifications

• FAA-certificated Mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• Three years of previous line maintenance experience.
• Previous supervisory, lead, workforce-direction or other leadership experience.
• Excellent working knowledge of maintenance policies and procedures.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a demanding operational environment.
• Ability to communicate calmly, clearly and professionally.
• Ability to lead and motivate maintenance personnel.
• General computer and administrative skills.
• Ability to plan, organize and direct workloads across assigned maintenance personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise shift maintenance personnel to keep aircraft operations safe and on schedule.
• Provide timely and accurate updates on aircraft status and ensure compliance with manuals and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor maintenance activity and direct work across Maintenance Control, Planning and other teams.
• Ensure proper tagging and removal of inoperative equipment and oversee shift turnover procedures.
• Promote safety and ensure security requirements are followed and documented.
