Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Ability to lead and support team activities on a production line.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with production systems.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills including operations with fractions and percentages.
• Demonstrated ownership and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to obtain Lockout/Tagout certification.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead line setup and product changeovers, identifying critical controls and potential issues.
• Provide daily production run sheets to packaging machine operators.
• Update production systems and case count boards to communicate performance and goals.
• Maintain raw material inventory and communicate discrepancies.
• Set up and operate multiple packaging machines.
• Keep lines running by clearing jams and minimizing downtime.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments.
• Support packaging machinery operations by troubleshooting coding, dating, and pricing issues.
• Monitor product weights and appearance to ensure quality.
• Read and interpret machine performance data.
