Job summary

Campbell Soup Company in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Line Technician to lead line setup, troubleshoot equipment, and drive safety and quality on our production lines. You will guide changeovers, manage packaging machinery, and support continuous improvement through 5S and GMP practices.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and hands-on mechanical experience, plus leadership and strong communication. Overtime may be required; base pay is $26 per hour with a $0.50 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Mechanical experience in a manufacturing, production, maintenance, industrial, automotive, or similar environment is required.
• Ability to lead and support team activities on a production line.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with production systems.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to use data.
• Ability to obtain Lockout/Tagout certification and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead line setup and product changeovers, identifying critical controls and potential issues.
• Provide daily production run sheets to packaging machine operators.
• Update production systems and boards to communicate performance and goals.
• Maintain raw material inventory and communicate discrepancies.
• Set up and operate multiple packaging machines.
• Read and interpret machine performance data.
• Monitor quality and assist with sanitation and maintenance tasks.
