Job summary

PurposeBuilt Brands seeks a 2nd Shift Line Lead in Manchester, TN to guide daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You will manage line startups/shutdowns, verify BOMs, and support the team with coaching and documentation.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing, strong communication, and the ability to lead a team. Syspro experience is a plus, with a focus on OSHA safety and a 5S-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong listening and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to drive production teams to meet standards.
• Basic reading/writing in English; bilingual preferred.
• Syspro experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily startup and shutdown of production area.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
• Verify BOM materials match requirements.
• Document daily production performance and issues.
• Maintain continuous production to maximize output.
• Perform routine quality testing of product.
• Enter data into Syspro to close jobs and print placards.
• Direct and support production team members to meet targets.
• Train, coach, and cross-train operators on operations and safety.
• Enforce work orders, SOPs, quality specs, and documentation.
