Job summary

Sinomax USA in La Vergne, TN is seeking a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift to lead multiple production lines and teams, ensuring safety and quality while meeting production targets.

You will coordinate scheduling, drive continuous improvement, and partner with engineering, quality, and supply chain. Experience with Lean methods, ERP, and MS Office is preferred. This is a full-time role with overtime flexibility and a hands-on, results-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of production equipment, processes, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency in production scheduling systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime, extended hours, and some weekends as needed.
• Understanding and ability to adhere to OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Ability to adapt to and excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have the ability to hear and see clearly.
• Willingness to assist in other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production process for multiple lines or shifts, ensuring operational goals are met.
• Supervise production teams by providing direction, coaching, and performance feedback to Leads and team members.
• Develop and implement strategies for process optimization, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments (e.g., engineering, quality, supply chain) to support production goals.
• Monitor, analyze, and report production metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans for safety, quality, and production issues.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company-specific regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for management during production escalations or emergencies.
• Perform specific tasks as required for the production line.
• Follow all safety policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
