Job summary

Carvana seeks a Line Lead Supervisor to directly manage and develop a team in an Inspection Center, driving production targets across multi-stage lines. You will oversee safety, efficiency, and output while maintaining high-quality standards in the reconditioning process.

The role requires strong supervisory experience in high-volume manufacturing, with LEAN know-how (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Kanban) to continuously improve workflows, reduce waste, and optimize line performance across automotive

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or lead experience within a high-volume manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
• LEAN principles (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Kanban) with ability to identify waste and drive improvements on the floor.
• Experience overseeing diverse operational processes, including mechanical assembly, inventory handling, and finishing stages.

Responsibilities

• Production Line Management: Coordinate and oversee daily operations across multi-stage production lines, ensuring safety, efficiency, and daily output targets.
• Cross-Functional Workflow: Manage the seamless movement of inventory and materials through production phases from assembly to final quality inspection.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor technicians, operators, and specialists across multiple workstations, fostering high performance and accountability.
• Quality Control & Finishing: Enforce quality standards to meet aesthetic, structural, and functional specs before final release.
• Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, optimize material staging, and streamline transitions between zones.
