Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Senior Production Manager to lead a manufacturing footprint on the Day shift (Thu-Sat and alternate Wed, 6am-6pm). The role reports to the Operations Manager and directs production areas to meet goals in quality, cost, and schedule.

You will mentor shift Production Managers, manage staffing per forecast, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing knowledge in an agile environment.
• Data analysis to drive business goals and targets.
• Six Sigma and Quality systems expertise.
• Capacity planning and throughput optimization know-how.
• Proven change management and productivity/cost-reduction initiatives.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and email.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate production operations using data-driven decisions.
• Maintain visible leadership across production areas.
• Ensure staffing meets production forecast and capacity model.
• Ensure successful transition of new product introductions.
• Drive cross-functional process improvement and efficiency projects.
• Develop and lead the team leadership pipeline.
• Ensure safety standards are met.
• Ensure quality standards are met.
• Drive operations culture through ownership, urgency, standardization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
